The coastal town of Cape Elizabeth, known locally as Cape, is one of the most sort after communities in Maine. It borders South Portland to the north and Scarborough to the south and is just 5 miles away from Portland. Often regarded as a wealthy enclave of Southern Maine, the town is best known for its outstanding schools system. It has three public schools- Pond Cove Elementary School, Cape Elizabeth Middle School, and Cape Elizabeth High School.  Besides schools, the town boasts fine restaurants, beaches, state parks, residential properties and holiday inns.

From the Portland headlight (one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world) to the 94-acre Fort Williams Park (containing ruins of the old fort, which housed troops in World Wars I and II), Cape Elizabeth encompasses numerous historical sites, all equally beautiful and fascinating. The two lights state park standing high above the rocky coast and rolling surf, offers the sweeping views of Casco Bay and the open Atlantic. Similarly, Crescent beach state park, a mile –long crescent shaped beach, is an ideal spot for strolling, swimming, picnicking and sunbathing.

With all the advantages of city life, Cape Elizabeth is an ideal place for vacation and residency.
